President Barack Obama was briefly in Oslo, Norway today to accept his Nobel Peace Prize. He gave a speech (transcript here).Below is an infographic that gives prominence to the words he used the most during his remarks.

But we all knew about that already. We've even mostly forgotten about it by now. I on the other hand did not. I even forgot to steal Rockband/Guitar Hero last time I was visiting Ian.
Today it occurred to me that there must be a game that could do something similar on the PC. But there isn't.
Then it occurred to me that what I want is a pitch game, like Singstar, which must exist for the PC! Which is called Ultrastar. Which is sort of like Osu as far as using your own mp3s and being able to create the stuff you play yourself.
And just now it occurred to me that I am not limited to creating tracks based on the vocals. If I want to, I can make a pitch track from a piece of classical music as long as I have a midi or the score. In other words, learning the basics of the violin may become fun and I will have a reason to dig mine out of the closet.
